Anonymous asked: But it IS funny. From your archive and the previous stuff you post I can assure it's perfectly qualified to end up on here.
Considering that over half of the submissions are possibly from condescending girls who think it’s hilarious that irrelevant grammatical mistakes are so funny like who gives a flying fuck if they used the wrong tense or forgot a comma.
And you gotta tell me which submission you’re talking about cause we have almost 600 to sort through.

Anonymous asked: You guys aren't posting anymore! I've sent in a heap of shit and none of it's come onto here!
Maybe because none of it is funny.
Anonymous asked: Hello :) You guys post about all the bad stuff on aff which is really funny, but could you recommend some good ones? I ran out of them :p thanks! :)

Anonymous asked: I meant "they" as in the other anon. And how do you know they Aren't making better quality stories? You don't even know them at all.
I don’t need to know that anon or your gray face to be aware that those who write “better quality stories” are either on hiatus, left or have better things to do and sit and complain about whatever that’s featured on AFF. Why? Because they just roll with it and not give a fuck. Those who only see worth in their writing through a feature would complain.
And before you ask, I know several of these writers and they do not care or give a shit. They’re on AFF to write, not to engage in drama.

Anonymous asked: I think you're being unnecessarily rude to the Anon who complained about the featured story. You told then not to complain when they don't try to make it better. Excuse me, but what *can* they do to make it better? Gosh, you make it seem like They're the reason it got featured, when it's clearly not their fault.
What is this “they” you’re speaking of? The blame is not on the “they” but towards the “you”, “me” and “we”. AFF is a user-generated site, as I said already, and we are the ones who create and manage the site, whether you guys disagree with it or not.
We are the reason why “it” (why are we talking about one freaking feature, there are several features that a lot of us complained about) got featured in the first place. And it’s not just upvoting, clicking it, subscribing, but letting that fic featured in the first place. The fact that we created this nasty, cutthroat atomsphere on AFF, the fact that we don’t do anything but complain, complain and complain about how things are WITHOUT ACTUALLY DOING ANYTHING. I don’t see us writing better stories or creating more legitimate review shops and spending karma on people who deserve to be featured.
Like fuck, be productive and contribute to AFF besides sitting around and having temper tantrums that some “shit” fic got featured because that does nothing, absolutely nothing. Things change when people make change.

Anonymous asked: I agree on the click and drag 'story' or whatever. I still wonder how could such things happen. Meh. But what do you think about the latest advertised stories? Did one catch your attention? There was this decent one, called 'To Daddy, With Love', but otherwise... I wonder if people smash their heads against the keyboard and that's how they 'write' :/
I said this in a blog post before and probably on my personal once, but honestly, if you still take the feature system seriously, you need to get off your computer, go outside and realize that the world is still moving regardless of what happens on AFF.
I’m not supporting these non-fics that just require some copy and paste (cause fuck, G and I work hard on our updates and shit), but come on, hurting the author for putting up something like that? Low, low, low. All of you should blame the people who upvoted, subscribed, commented and loved that fic enough to get featured. Meaning, it’s the readers themselves that are the fucking problem on AFF.
If a good amount of you are all interested in “good stories”, we wouldn’t have such a big problem. But no, most of you would rather go and do click and drags and read facts that are not 100% accurate. So don’t bitch about the quality of AFF when you haven’t tried to make it better.
Anonymous asked: The new featured story is a click and drag game. C.L.I.C.K. A.N.D. D.R.A.G. I give up.
